r1 g1 i lose to a deck that goes dragon fodder, rockslide, thorn thrash. i side in wave. g2 i have squire into archers while he drops fodder/rockslide. i swing with archers and he chumps with tokens, so i excom to hold him off. he ends up bolting archers on his turn and i drop mycoloth, eating squire. i play cautiously, building up an army. he bolts my mycoloth early so i don't attack. he eventually has out two elementals, steward, nacatl, and crasher. my army takes it home. g3 he has another ridiculous opening with double fodder, double rockslide, thorn thrash. i have a team with ascetic and he attacks with a single rockslide. i pump ascetic to kill one and bounce the other, holding silence for the 10/10 thorn thrash. i use it and he has another thorn thrash, devouring 3. he attacks with rockslide and thorn thrash and i correctly play around blessing, killing his team. he states that he thought summoning sick creatures couldn't pump ascetic. it's pretty academic after that, as i have war monk on board with mycoloth and guide in hand.

r2 i play a bad bant deck. g1 i have a fast hand and roll him. g2 he has duelist into outrider into fatestitcher while i have elf into guardians into archers into monk. i have him down to 9 and decline to attack with monk. he silences my elf and drops infiltrators and orings monk. i attack with archers, he triple blocks, and i kill infiltrators and duelist. i drop gargoyle and next turn mycoloth it. i then have another gargoyle but he sees the writing on the wall.

r3 i play a deck that went mountaineer into crashers into stinger. they didn't get any swamps and i had screecher for crashers and mosstodon for beats. g2 they go necrogenesis, necrogenesis, no mountains while i have screecher into elf into gargoyle into gargoyle.
