Draft 93 - SSS


so terrible i want to shoot myself. the packs in the draft were like no good green and good blue then no good blue and good green. whatever.

Draft 92 - SSS


round one i play maniac t1 and he gets out someone to trade t3. i have out spriggan and cragtreads while he has 4 plains, a ballynock, and gnarled effigy. i tower above the spriggan for the concession. g2 he gets his islands and drops pili-pala while i have initiate and witch. he has repel intruders for my spriggan but i drop cohort and cavaliers. he has silkbind and skulk so i tower above the cohort and kill the silkbind. the then drops watchwing. he has one plains up so i attack with everything but the initiate and he blocks token on witch and skulk on cavaliers, leaving the cohort through. i guess he thought watchwing was going to be his win condition. i barkshell blessing with conspire + initiate pump on the cohort, taking him from 3/3 to 8/8. i then hit him with my green wisp and pump again, killing him from 9 life.

r2 i play against a gw deck. g1 he gets a scrapbasket with double shield and i die quickly. g2 i take pretty easily. g3 i'm manascrewed for a long time and then i just draw nothing but land.

drafts are finally back up and i lose two in r1 to horrible decks due to screw and flood. i mean, my decks aren't the greatest, but it was pretty unreal.

Sealed 2 - Shadowmoor PE

i considered doing something like wgu, but thought better of it:


i feel like this should've done better than it did. :/ i made some terrible play mistakes against my r1 opponent (like inverting blight's order for some dumb reason) who i think was PVDDR. blight and furystoke are amaaazing. i've been siding out a swamp for smash or torpor dust, usually. ended up 3-2.

Draft 89 - SSS

this draft was a little tricky. i started out thinking gr with a p1 firespout, but i kept getting passed infi bu stuff. really wish i would have like two or three sickle rippers, but them's the breaks.



round one i played a rb deck that cast trip noose like t2 every single game. he had redcap, the 4/4 giant with withering that gets -3/-0, and din of the fireherd. g1 he mulls and i get a duo into helm draw. he'd forced to tap my dude down with trip noose while i continue to develop with lancer and korrigan. g2 i get crushed, and g3 is pretty close but i have the witch with a flyer to chip him away.

round two i play a gr deck with howl, runes, power of fire, and a bunch of random dudes. i get crushed g1 with a t4 runes on something. g2 he spends his druid to drop runes and next turn i bounce his dude with river's grasp and then pounded him. g3 i'm doing ok but he gets power of fire out, which is utterly insane against me. then he howls for like 5 wolves and i'm looking at lethal.

round one i played against a uw deck that never really got going against my good draws.

round two i lose against a gr deck with liege and a bunch of 1ccs. i'm manascrewed like every single game and can't draw a plains for my dubs witch for my life g3. my gleeful sabotage never had a chance to hit the game ending runes of the deus.

Draft 87 - SSS


leech bonders are aaaaaamaaaaazing.

round one i played a wgr deck. don't remember much of it except g2 i get out warcrawler, silkbind, cohort, and bonder to hold off his white cohort, spriggan, gouger, sootwalkers, and cremator because he didn't want the warcrawler and bonder to eat his team. i end up chipping him to death.

round two i played a ub deck. he had knacksaw, the 3/2 flyer, glamer spinners, harpoonists and watchwing. i mulled to 6 both games and still pulled it out, despite stuff like my godheaded somnomancer getting wrecked by prismwake. my favorite play was when he must've forgot about chainbreaker and blocked my bonder with a 3/3. i transfered a token to it, and then dropped the other.

round three i played a fast rb deck with a bunch of 2/1s and 1/1s, crowd, and macabre. g1 i get out an early prison term which he 2 for 1's himself to get out of and then drop an oracle of nectar and start gaining life just as he gets his board developed. i have a gravelshark with godhead on and am banging away. then he drops a torrent of souls and leaves bb up. i calculate for rite and gain life. he does something like 22 but i'm up to almost 40. g2 i'm lucky enough to get another early prison term into leech bonder, which decimates his board. he plots back some creatures to his hand and fills his board, hoping to stabilize. i draw a leech bonder though, and that puts a counter on board for my other one to kill him that turn instead of slugging it out.

Draft 86 - SSS


this draft went really well, and then i had a hard time making cuts. especially with this being the first time i drafted shadowmoor. and then time was running out and i get the land in and click submit. aaaand, it doesn't take it. so g1 of all three rounds i played with all my cards, which was frowntown. but i won each of them and took every round in two games. decidedly not frowntown. i was seeing stuff so ridiculously late.

don't remember the rounds much.

i'm really happy with the way shadowmoor plays. there are so many interactions. one game i had out leech bonder and cast biting tethers on my opponent's morselhoarder. he was like 'even if i kill the bonder i'm screwed.' indeed.

Draft 85 - MMM


this deck played a bit questionably. g1 of round one i had a really heartbreaking loss and then the servers went down. *shrug*

Draft 82 - LLM


round one played a 5 color deck that was rbg splashing mulldrifter and mirror entity. i take g1 pretty easily. g2 i get stuck on three land and he drops entity and kills me. g3 i attack with everything to take him to 4 and he attacks, pumps his igniters and then shards me for the final three. i could've held back a creature. so pissed. drawing a 5th land would've been nice, too.

Draft 81 - MMM


yay for money rares!

round one i play a wr kithkin deck. g1 i go paragon into heavyweights into colossus. his dubs zepyhrnauts and dubs mosquito guard have nothing. g2 i get a banneret into heavyweights. he has out dubs zephyrnauts and changeling sentinel, so i attack in with another banneret in hand. he doesn't block though. next turn he hits the clash and drops cavalier so i'm looking at 14 damage. i had intended the shard in hand to help finish, but i gotta drop the sentinel. he doesn't draw anything and it's pretty academic after that. sbding was -rival's duel;+sunflare shaman.

round two i play the same guy that was in the finals of last draft with the same wu merfolk deck, this time splashing black for violet pall. he rolled me both games.

Draft 80 - MMM


wheee!

round one i play a wrg that seemed really disjointed. don't remember much. took it in two.

round two i play against a wr deck that had taurean mauler and heavyweights. g1 was close but i pulled it out. g2 i get out three zephyrnauts (thanks, heavyweights) and then weight it and take it home with some armaments. i usually sb out a plains and in a weight.

round three i play a wu merfolk deck. with multiple schoolmasters, bannerets, a wand, a sage, and a bombardiers. g1 he has out two schoolmasters and the sage and my early lead is not looking incredibly hot, even with my triaded zephyrnauts. final turn i rip the bombardiers and fly over for one over lethal. g2 i get out a pretty good start and he's on the back foot the entire time. i have paragon into armaments into ambassador. two 4/4 tramplers are some good.

Draft 79 - LLM


round one i played against a terrible ur merfolk/goblin monstrosity with thundercloud shaman; took it in two.

round two i played a decent ub faerie deck. g1 i accidentally hit f4 during a crucial turn and he ended up building back his board with a pilferers while i drew land. g2 i curved out perfectly and wrecked him with an unexpected volley. g3 i curved out fairly well and put massive pressure on where he had to make bad chumps. next to last turn i drop axe and am intending to attack with my ash and an axed cloudcrown, but he drops blackguard and pilferers back divers. i draw woodland so i drop bowmaster then changeling to off the blackguard and attack with the hasted changeling ftw.

round three i play what seemed like a mono b goblins deck. g1 he mulled to six and i saw two swamps, a facevaulter, and a discarded grubfellows. g2 he draws his mountains and slaughters me with caterwauling, boggart mob, blackguard, and shriekmaw. g3 it's tight and i try to put as much pressure on as possible. but he gets out blackguard, bandit, and mob. i just can't keep up.

had the power go out on me so i missed the beginning of pack three.

round one i played a gb elves deck; it went to three.

round two i got trounced by a decent looking kithkin deck.
