Draft 77 - TPF


round one played against a rwg deck. took him g1. g2 he gets me with a ghostfire. same for g3 a turn before i drew desolation giant. can't be too mad with the damnation and a relic. probably should've blocked, though, to avoid going below 4.

Draft 76 - MMM


ah kithkin, how i love thee. maybe i'm a little light on 1 drops?

round one i roll a guy playing grw. he said he had trouble finding a theme. i saw two winnower, triad, fire juggler, weight, brighthearth. g1 was over pretty quickly and he mulled to oblivion g2.

round two i played against a gb assassin/treefolk deck. i couldn't get more than two land out g1 so i lost with an amazing hand of zephyrnauts and bombardiers. g2 i got rolling and trounced him with two flying 7/7 zephyrnauts. g3 i was lucky enough to have bled off his palls and had a bombardier out with two armaments. he had an active elite, so i couldn't block and kill his gametrail. i just kept taking damage and killing his pall tokens. then i chumped his final swing and he had no flyers.

round three i play a gu tree/merfolk deck. i get screwed g1 but come back in the next two to crush him fairly handily. g2 was ridiculous and g3 he burns his hand trying to kill me and i get out armaments and wreck his alpha strike.

round one i get rolled buy a guy playing uw with better cards like aethersnipe and ambitions.

Draft 74 - MMM


round one was weird. i play against a guy who never submitted his deck. g1 he has nothing but plains and white cards. i have a decent hand and win pretty easily. during sideboarding he never submits and times out into another 80 card deck. he has back to back golden crickets and a daily regimen on one. i have a slow hand and get wrecked. another timeout into g3; he has mosquito guard into daily regimen but i get out two bannerets and a gametrail with my 3 mana before he casts release the ants on a banneret on my attack. he drops a sentinel but holds off on attacking and i keep dropping guys. he taps out for a stingmoggie (?!) and i draw my second plains in order to overrun him with swell ftw.

round two g1 i get throttled by a wr deck with schoolmasters and rage forgers and stuff. g2 i drop a land and add something and roll him. g3 we have a really close race but i have my three bombardiers and earthbrawn in hand. flying zephyrnaut + armaments + earthbrawn takes it home on the last possible turn (insanely lucky). he ended up being 4color no green. with moonglove, two rage forgers, inspired sprite, coordinated barrage, and a schoolmaster.

round three i lost to a really ridiculous gr warrior deck with paragon and axe. it's like 'oh war spike? 6/5 trampler coming at you right now.' i almost pulled the third one out being super aggressive - 6 to 4 on the final turn. but my last two draws were lands and he got the war spike he needed to rumble over my lone blocker. i had nothing coming anyway.

back up to 1675. feels kinda good, haha.

Draft 73 - MMM

i keep playing MMM in the hopes i'll crack some decent rares. no such luck :(.


lose round one against an opponent playing br rogues with pricklys, war spikes, multiple morsel thefts, cloak, and stingmogie (??). g1 i smash him. g2 i don't get any swamps till late. g3 i draw nothing but land.

i should really take pricklys higher if i'm picking up rogue stuff.

Draft 72 - MVW

i raredrafted some. the dreadnaught's like 10 and the recruiters are like 2.5. the cone was so good for me. it was kinda a crazy splash, but when it hits it's almost always devastating.


r1 i played against a good rw deck. i had all the answers, though, and it went really long. at one point he cast torrent of lava with the redirect flanker out. i had a feral instinct to protect a key flying blocker and he disconnects.

r2 i don't remember much of. opponent was playing blue and had two undos; long games. i win g3 with like 50 seconds left.

r3 i play three really good games against a wub deck. he had timed out on most his picks because he was away, but he put together a really solid deck.

mvps: remedy, soul shepherd (like +10 life one game), cone.

i get wrecked round one by some dink playing oriss, ith, and a bunch of crap like shapeshifter's marrow. and i don't pull a tarmogoyf :( *shrug*

Draft 70 - LLM


round one g1 i play against a gb deck that never really gets going. i have a nice opening of harrier into branchbender into meadowboon into gametrail while he has... a vinbreeder with reins of the vinesteed on it. g2 he has festercreep and nectar faerie. i go branchbender into ambush to force the creep popping. then go archers, winnowers, briarhorn while he harbingers for ending. he kills the briarhorn, but i growth the archers, winnowers, and his harbinger and swing in. he blocks then concedes.

round two g1 i accidentally get caught in the tpf queue and it fires; i dunno i get wrecked.

Draft 69 - MMM


i would've liked some pricklys, but to be honest, i would've been happy with some more cheap blue and cutting black altogether - judging by the way round 1 went. sideboarding: in the main i think frogtossers should come out for disperse and dousing or stream. given the amount of black cards, they seem to just be taking up space. i'm not sure how much reducing my 3 drop dudes by 1 would help.

round one i play the highest rated guy in the draft running a rb elementals deck. g1 i stumble on mana and he destroys me. g2 he stumbles on mana a bit and i start a prowl chain with mothdust into morsel theft into latchkey and keep it rolling. g3 it's a little rough. i get a good start and am prowling out latchkeys but he drops the hill giant that taps for 3 damage. i disperse it and then attack and noggin whack to get rid of it and his other good cards. he drops a war spike and equips battle axe. it's looking a little rough but i know his hand and multiple dewdrops show me all lands. i have enough chumps (including nevermaker) and keep hitting through the air for the win on the last possible turn.

round two g1 my uw merfolk opponent stumbled on mana. i got a decent draw and rocked him. frogtosser's aren't that bad, actually. g2 i have an unblocked frogtosser (vs his mothdust) into latchkey into frogtosser, into latchkey, blackguard, dewdrop, dewdrop, and latchkey. he has weight, merfolk banneret, weight, ink dissolver, and that's about it. he has swell and some stuff in his hand at the end of the game. he stumbled on mana again and he was running 16. it seemed alright with what i saw (minus the swell). maybe he was just unlucky?

round three i play against a wb kithkin deck. g1 i trounce him. g2 and 3 he has awesome draws and i just can't keep up. them's the beats.

Draft 68 - LLM

this draft was a little iffy for a while. i go p1 profane, p2 aethersnipe, p3 douser, p4 hero. pack 2 i get the blue hookup and see some ok black come around so decide for that rather than pick up, say, plover knights. p3 i get pretty decent stuff and i'm feeling much better:


round one i played a wru deck playing nova chaser and supreme exemplar with some cheap goblins and elementals and caterwauling boggart. g1 i hit his hand and saw what was up and took a cheap elemental for his champions. he got an exemplar down but even thought i was mana light i had angler to tap it. i drew into lands and dropped some flashed flyers and that was it. g2 he was screwed and i put it away pretty easily.

round two i played a ub faerie deck. i got a nuts draw of blackguard into dewdrop into thieving. i held back because i didn't want to lose dudes because he had out fencer clique with cloak. not much else, though, but i saw some spiderwigs. eventually i get out a aquitects and douser. he kills douser but i get out ink dissolver and islandwalk like a champ. g2 he mulls to oblivion. i mull from a 1 land into a 1 spell, angler. i think it might be good enough, considering, and go from angler into aquitects into sentinels. he has boggart loggers and then later a turtleshell. he ends up dropping a blackguard to chump, but it's too much at that point. i have anglers, 2x aquitects, sentinels, turtleshell, and a ruse in hand.

round three i played an insane mono g deck with vanquisher, woodlands, bowmasters, ambassadors, packmaster, battlewand, and two incremental growths. g1 i held on for a bit but his early bowmaster and incremental growth wrecked my draw of mostly faeries. g2 i didn't draw a third land the entire game. he bounced one with primal command and then i checked my deck. it was like turn 15 or something. oh well, them's the breaks.

dbmaintenance. r1 opponent disconnected and timed out. r2 kicked off but neither of us had a duel screen. eventually it told me i lost the match. then i get my cards. then i'm told i won and got 4 packs. *shrug*

Draft 66 - XXX

decided to go with an xxx:


round one g1 he had grizzly bears, two prodigal pyromancers, and overrun. i went rager into giant into giant. i had him in the turn after the overrun. g2 he gets out both pyromancers early again and is pinging away, eventually hitting me with a lava axe. the final turn he's at 13 and have a bloodfire colossus. i swing and he blocks. no prob, next turn. he then recollects for lava axe and does exactly 7 damage. :/

Draft 65 - LLM


round one i played a... monogreen? not sure. g1 i hit him with an early stormcloud for two, wrathing him. next turn i glarewieldered for the win. g2 we stalled a little and he had quite a few tokens. i had out a plover knights, though, and final turn i threw a mudbutt with the oaf and attacked with it and the knights for the win eot.

round two i somehow win against a uw merfolk faerie deck. g1 was a demoralizing loss. g2 i win on the last possible turn by doing exactly enough damage by attacking and then casting thundercloud with two mudbutts on board for another six. g3 i win by casting a hearthcage on the last possible turn and and attacking with my lunk, forger, and changeling token from a crib swapped thundercloud. he blocks lunk and i sac every elemental to grow the changeling to 10/4.

round three i get slammed by a gbr treefolk deck. he had like every black removal spell that went around plus two assassins, dourbark, huntmaster, etc. i actually drew my stinkdrinkers these games, but they were both inversioned the turn they came into play.

Draft 64 - MMM

i went gw kithkin/elves/warriors as you can see:


round one g1 i'm playing a ur deck apparently, although i never see any blue cards. i drop a wolf skull then axe then paragon. he drops a jugglers that blocks the wolf skull. i cast ballyrush. he drops another jugglers then hits my axed paragon with shard and blocks my ballyrush. i have triad to pump ballyrush to crush him. he drops war spike but my bombardiers influences him to concede. g2 he drops a jugglers and i follow with banneret then the axe. he has a war spike but is wary of my tricksy banneret attack with triad backup. then i drop two zephyrnauts. he swings with everything and then roars a zephyrnauts. 4 mana for 3 mana, i like it. he's tapped out except for an island and i have a winnower in hand. that attack takes him from 18 to 9. i'm at 13 with triad and swell in hand. he draws and concedes.

round two g1 i don't remember much of. he has out a frogtosser and drops a latchkey. i roll him pretty well. he's like 'oh, i must've been passing to you. oh boy.' i side in the archers. his first play is blackguard and i have archers. i forget they have reach so i let it through. he drops a prowled earwig squad and throws away swell and i think barrage and a triad (not the one in my hand though). i get out preeminent captain and pull the colossus in on my attack. he also has a bandit i think and a fencer clique at this point. i drop my triad for chumps and take out the bandits on his next attack. he drops a latchkey. i attack and bring in a zephyrnaut. i have bombardiers and barrage in my hand at this point. he takes damage, and i drop bombardiers. i can block either fencers or latchkey with bombardiers and the earwig with +1/+1 with the elf token and barrage it. he draws and concedes.

round three i played against a really solid gr shaman treefolk deck with reach of branches. can't remember the games. think it went to 3. he trounced me pretty good in the last one.

Draft 63 - LLM

i tried to rig up a perl script that would do screenshots, but i missed some and i just realized how much work it is going to be to go through them. i may try to mess with some oci stuff in perl or python, but i dunno...


anyway, round one g1 i came out swinging with a gaddock teeg into bombardiers into healers. my opponent was wub and his first play was a shinewend which he used to chump teeg. his next play was tapping out for plover knights. i swung with teeg and bombardiers. he blocked teeg and i surged and healed for the wrecking ball. g2 i had a mosquito guard in response to his mothdust. then dropped a skirmisher into healer into balloonist. i can't remember if he cast anything else, i was mesmerized by my nuts hand of two o-rings and bombardier.

round two g1 i have one landers down to 5 :(. nothing. g2 i have a high cc hand and almost pull it out but his triple whelms get me.
