i did a draft and looked for my saved deck afterward. no dice. how retarded. * oh, documents and settings. :/ anyway... i drafted a Uw deck with two ink dissolvers, pestermite, two wings, two whelms, inspired sprite, grimoire thief, two fencer clique, mothdust, sage of fables, sage's dousing, stoneybrooks, sentinels, ruse, ambitions, ameboid, deeptread, divers, mistbind clique, douser, adept, angler, and stuff. it was full of relatively solid cards but no real theme.
round one i played a rg giant deck. g1 i lost. he had too fast a start. g2 he was hurting for mana and my t2 and t3 dissolvers went all the way. the last turn he has 6 cards left and i'm at a comfortable life total. i drop a divers and get two wizards for the dissolvers, i put wings on top. he drops mulldrifter and i'm like 'what'. i reveal and he's goes 'so lucky' i'm like 'i had two out of my top four, *shrug*'. what i didn't say was, 'i had out two dissolvers and you cast a mulldrifter knowing full well if i hit you'd be gone'. i see thundercloud and cloudthresher. g3 i have a nuts aggro draw and he stumbles a little early on. i think this was the game where he drops thundercloud with another giant out and i ameboid his giant to something else so the majority of my dudes live. i take it.
my sideboarding was something like: +ruse, +dousing, +wings, +thief; -whelm, -stream, -throng, -clique
i had to go walk a friend's dog so i had to let it timeout. :(
